What are the requirements for Extreme Versatility Level titles and 30/50/100 titles?
Proof of your title certificates via scan or photo are to be submitted for review. For North American dogs, you may submit your latest CKC/AKC/UKC title certificate that shows all of your titles, instead of sending each individual certificate. You may also send a screen shot of AKC/CKC Kennel Club Points Summary as proof of titles. You may take a screenshot of your titles in organizations that have online titleholder listings.
Juniors, preferred and senior titles are acceptable, and virtual/online titles are acceptable if comparable.
Photos of ribbons or event results pages will not be accepted. Titles must be recorded by the official organizations.
You may apply for posthumous awards.
How do I calculate for Extreme Versatility 30/50/100 titles?
For dogs that have 30, 50, 100, 150 or 200 total titles.
ALL official titles count toward this, so if you have 15 titles in scent work, for example, they will all count, even from different organizations. All DMWYD titles. All Excellent/Ace titles (official recorded title/certificate, not just a list of Qs or ribbons) in a level will count, eg. FCAT4 would be 6 titles (BCAT, DCAT, FCAT, FCAT2, FCAT3, FCAT4).
If an organization such as AKC or CKC recognizes a title from another organization, eg DMWYD Trick title, the DMWYD title will be considered one title, as it was earned once. One exception for DMWYD in particular, is that for example a Bunny Run achieved in 2023 and 2024 are considered 2 titles, as they were earned at different times.
Highest titles can be submitted as we can calculate the progression. For example if you submit RE, it is proof that you have RN and RA. As RI is optional, proof of that would be required as well.
Titles that have already been submitted for EVD Level titles do not have to be re-submitted.
Extreme Versatility titles will count toward it.
How do I calculate for EVD Level titles?
Each section within the levels have been divided for clarity. You only need to have one title in the sections that show multiple options (except where noted) – eg if you have CGC, you do not need FDC as well.
Only one title for the same discipline for a level will apply – eg Novice Agility Standard AND Novice Agility Jumpers are the same level and the same discipline and therefore count as one title in that level.
You may use previously used titles when adding on to a level that you have already applied for, in order to move up in that level.
You may submit a higher level title in order to top up a lower level Extreme Versatility title. For example, a conformation Championship would count as one title in Novice level.
You may submit for any level your dog is eligible for; you do not need to apply for lower levels first.
As some disciplines have several organizations, you may submit a comparable title for review. In countries that do not offer titles in some of these areas (for example agility titles), but offer placements or events that are comparable, please contact us to confirm if your dog is eligible.
If we find that your dog is eligible for a higher level than you originally applied for, you will be notified and you do not need to re-submit.
I am unsure what my dog is eligible for?
No problem! Send us your list of titles and we will work out the title(s) your dog is eligible for.
How do I apply?
Check out the Extreme Program Checklist for Level titles and when requirements are met, submit your online form application OR download the fillable application and save for email application.
How much to process EVD titles and what do I get?
Level titles are $30 CAD (~$22 USD) for the first title at all levels (Novice, Advanced, Excellent, Master, Champion). Additional titles with the same dog in the same Level, or posthumous awards, are $20 CAD (~ $15 USD). For example, an application for XNV6 would be $30; if you added XVNX the total would be $50.
First Extreme Versatility 30/50/100/150 titles are $40 CAD for 30 titles (~ $30 USD), $45 CAD for 50 titles, and $50 CAD (~ $36 USD) for 100+ titles each due to longer processing time, and additional titles are $20 (for example, 2 titles submitted for XV50 & XV100, applied at the same time for the same dog, would be $70 total). Eligible teams will receive an emailed digital certificate with their title for each title applied for, with the dog’s name, handler’s name and the application date, as well as inclusion in the title holders listing. Submitted titles for proof and Extreme Versatility titles will be recorded as you go along so that you won’t need to re-submit all your proof if you want to move up a level in the future. Title rosettes and additional title tabs are optional and an additional cost based on shipping and how many ordered.
Which organizations are recognized?
Please note that MANY organizations’ titles are eligible for this program – the titles listed on the Extreme Program Checklist are to give an idea on the level of difficulty that is expected/comparable in the Extreme levels, as a guideline only. Title levels should be somewhat comparable to the Checklist form titles to be acceptable. The Checklist form is a starting point for more common titles but are not the only recognized organizations. This is a partial list and is subject to updates.
